    Un groupe de NTT DATA est actuellement à la recherche d’un administrateur de bases de données Sybase qui se joindra à son équipe de Montréal, au Québec.


    A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Sybase DBA to join our team in Montreal Quebec.

    Rôles et responsabilités relatifs au poste

    Le titulaire sera intégré à une équipe internationale d’administrateurs de bases de données distribuées assurant le soutien technique des bases de données distribuées 24 heures sur 24, sept jours sur sept. Il doit être motivé à parfaire ses connaissances par dans le cadre de formations officielles et en cours d’emploi. Le titulaire occupera un poste qui lui permettra de toucher à tous les aspects de l’administration de bases de données, notamment les suivants : rendement et réglage, entretien courant et la création d'emplois spécialisés, selon les besoins. Le titulaire fera partie d’un groupe qui assurera, par rotation et périodes de gardes, le soutien technique durant les fins de semaine


    Compétences :

    - Administrateur de bases de données Sybase et (ou) de serveur UDB DB2 ayant au moins trois années d’expérience en rendement et réglage, gestion de la capacité et soutien d’environnements d'entreprise multiserveurs.

    - Solides connaissances du langage SQL et expérience en réglage du rendement.

    - Capacité de se servir d’outils avec lignes de commande et d’outils avec interface utilisateur 

    - Connaissance d’Unix ou de Linux 


    This person will be a member of a global distributed DBA team that provides24x7 firm-wide support for distributed databases. S/he should be eager to build on her/his existing knowledge via formal and on-the-job training. This person will work in a position that will allow her/him to fully experience all aspects of database administration, including performance and tuning, regular maintenance and the creation of specialized jobs, depending on what needs may arise. This person will be part of a group rotation providing weekend on-call support.



    - Sybase and/or UDB DB2 Server DBA with at least 3 years of experience in performance and tuning; capacity management; supporting multi-server enterprise environments.

    - Strong SQL language knowledge and performance tuning experience.

    - Must be able to work with command line tools as well as GUI tools. 

    - Familiarity with Unix or Linux.

    - Exposure to Perl
